Church Publishing is awesome sauce!
In Print/Published Work:
“Going to Church with the 2008 Obama Campaign”
Published in Starting From Zero with $0: Building Mission-Shaped Ministries on a Shoestring, edited by Becky Garrison. The book includes writings from several contributors who discuss the challenge of creating Christian Community on a small budget. My contribution discusses the use of Social Media in a Church context, pulling from my experience as a field organizer and a regional field director the Obama Campaign.

In September of 2010, I was interviewed for the 164th episode of the Nick and Josh Podcast, an emergent-church themed podcast. I discussed my experience on the Obama campaign, social media, and my work with thechurchisalive.com. Click the play button below to give it a listen!

I made a video once. It looked like this:
Music:
Sometimes I make music (of varying quality – but it’s about fun, right?). If you need a harmonica or ukulele player in the Boston area (or anywhere else), let me know!
I’m in a band called Whiskey River, and we play songs like this:
Some solo harmonica work:
Some (really bad) ukulele work:
I’m pretty bad at ukulele, but I decided to record it anyway, because – really – who is actually GOOD at ukulele? (other than this guy) This first piece is a little 45-second test track, seeing how a harmonica jives with the two ukulele tracks. I made it on a Thursday, so I call it “Thursday.”
This second track is a much longer, this time seeing if I can actually record something while using an iPhone and those tiny little white earbuds. In the spirit of my ever-pervasive creativity, I named the song “Monday”, because I…err…made it on a Monday.
